Nominations are open for our Outstanding Service Award. This award is previously known as the Lifetime Membership Award as well as the Parent/Teacher Recognition Award. This award gets presented to two individuals each year that have gone above and beyond to provide an immense impact to our children. For more details and to submit your nominee, CLICK HERE. Dinosaur George will be doing virtual appearances next week!! These programs will be LIVE!! The shows will take place on February 9th and 11th. Please scroll down to our events section for more details.

Also, we have Queen/King of Hart sales (starting 2/4 - 2/11), a Hart Beat, Valentines parties, and a 4-day weekend! It is going to be a fabulous couple of weeks.

Please note, we are encouraging all of our students to wear red/pink on Thursday, February 11th, to show all of our teachers how much we love and appreciate them. Additionally, Hart PTO will be providing some treats for the kiddos for Valentine's Day.

Our next PTO Membership meeting will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2nd @ 10:30am. Any current PTO member is welcome.

Hart PTO Welcomes Dinosaur George!

On Tuesday February 9th and Thursday February 11th join the virtual program presented by Dinosaur George. The following topics by grade and time will be available for students in school and at home virtually.

February 9th > Prehistoric Mammals (3rd - 4th) 10:30 am

At the end of the age of dinosaurs, mammals rose to take over the world. Giant elephants, Saber-toothed cats, huge bears and monster dogs are just some of the things you’ll learn about the mammals that lived in the past. You will see some amazing fossils during this lesson, so join Dinosaur George and learn about the world of Prehistoric Mammals.

February 11th > What is a dinosaur? (K - 2nd) 8:10 am

Dinosaurs are some of the most fascinating animals that ever lived. But how can you tell what is, and what is not, a dinosaur? Become a "Dinosaur Expert” with Dinosaur George as he explains everything you wanted to know about Dinosaurs.

Hart Recycling Contest

What: Create something using all recyclable items! Use your imagination, it could be a statue, a working invention, be creative! You must be able to recycle the entire thing after the contest.

When: Deadline for all entries is Wednesday March 30^th. Email photos and/or videos (a quick video with an explanation and showing a working creation are encouraged) to jaclynappino@att.net

Winners will be announced April 5^th! One winner per grade will win their class a pajama day!

Recyclable items include: Paper (staples ok), Cardboard, Plastic, Metal, Glass.

The next available pickup day for Spiritwear is Friday, February 5th.

As a reminder, pickup instructions and procedures are as follows:

Any order placed M-TH by 2pm will be available for pickup that Friday from 12-2 pm. If an order is placed after 2pm on Thursday, it will be available for pickup the following Friday.

Orders will be located in a box labeled Spiritwear outside the front of the school. Names will be labeled on the bags.
